I love Pizza. I mean seriously, I have a pizza crush. But Pizza has a bad reputation for sure. High in Fat, High in Refined Carbs, you could see why everyone feels like they have to say goodbye when they say hello to a healthy lifestyle.
I am here to tell you THAT IS NOT the case.
You can enjoy every bite, and still feel like you just ate a healthy meal, full of the things you need, and nixed on the things you don't
I am going to tell you how.
So you know WFBP eating often excludes things like meat, eggs, and dairy. Well not mine, it's been modified to fit more of the foods I love at less of a price. And this is one of the rewards of a Sweet Sweet lifestyle.
Because My program was adapted under the intention " that one size DOES NOT fit all." it will address the In's and Outs of a healthy lifestyle, while also allowing the individual a great deal of flexibility with how they go forward on their Health Journey.
While fundamental principals remain the same. I have specifically designed a system with an endless number of pathways.
That means that just like your favorite pair of pants. You will be able to find THE PERFECT FIT.
In my program Health is Customizable, Health is Flexible. And that makes it DOABLE
Haha yup, I just used Health and flexibility in the same sentence.
It will always be RIGHT FOR YOU because it is meant to be adjusted depending on the individual and their current needs.
If you are interested to learn more about my system I have a free 7-day course coming out within the following weeks. I will update this post accordingly, but if you don't want to miss it. Be sure to sign up by clicking the link below
Back to the wonderfully delightful Margarita Pizza. I used a quinoa crust*, fat-free mozzarella cheese, and various vegetables.
*I wrote a post about the benefits of quinoa here
And while it looks complicated the recipe is fairly straight forward, super easy, and super quick.
Let me tell you about a quick tip when it comes to quinoa.
RINSE, RINSE, RINSE.
I don't mean soak for anywhere from 8-122 hours ( who wants to do that... can you say health obstacle, BY THAT TIME you are just going to give up and go out for a pizza that is already made and not healthy one bit, just to be spiteful to the stupid quinoa sitting on the counter.)
But I mean take a strainer, or a bowl, rinse with warm water and grate thoroughly with your hands. Be a little mean to it. It will hold up.
I know you'll be tempted to rinse and then continue on with your day. But
GO FOR OVERRINSING and OVERSCRUBBING not UNDERRINSING and LIGHT MIX with your hands
This ensures that the bitter coating is removed.
Second quick Tip. Anytime Quinoa calls for water, use chicken broth
(Unless for some reason you are using it for a dessert crust. That would be gross!)
Whip up a lovely sauce, cut up veggies that are lyin' around and Baby you have yourself a PEA-ZAH!
Here's The Recipe Below:

Enjoy The Lishousness!:)
